What helps most
- Both addresses, including the floor at each end and whether there is a lift
- Roughly how much there is, including the loft, garage, shed and any outbuildings
- Anything heavy, old or fragile — a piano, marble, mirrors, framed work
- How much packing you want done, and whether you need storage between places
- Whether the move crosses the country, and your date even if it is provisional
What happens next
We read it, come back to arrange a survey, and quote in writing afterwards. If a smaller or cheaper service would do the job properly, we will say so rather than quoting the bigger one quietly.
