A removals company without a town in the name
Most removals websites open by telling you which high street they are on. We are not going to, because we are not on one — and we would rather be straight about that than invent an address.
What we actually are
A removals company that works across the United Kingdom. Houses, flats, single rooms, whole-country moves, offices, packing and storage — and moves that keep going into France, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
There is no branch network behind that and no local office we are pretending to run. There are crews, vehicles, a survey process that works over video, and a quoting method that does not depend on being round the corner from you.
Why no town in the name
Because putting one there would be a marketing decision rather than a true one. A great many nationwide firms publish a page for every town in the country with an invented address on it, and every one of those pages is a small lie that the customer finds out about on moving day.
We would rather have one honest page about how we cover the country. If you specifically want a firm that is genuinely local to you, that is a sensible preference and we are not going to argue you out of it.
How we quote
We survey before we price. For most moves that is a video call — you walk round on your phone, we see the volume, the doorways, the stairs and the access, and we quote from what we have actually seen. For larger homes or awkward buildings we come out. Both are free and neither obliges you to anything.
The written quote is the number. It lists what is included, what is not, and what would change it. If something genuinely changes on the day we tell you what it means before we act on it rather than afterwards.
What we will not do
Quote from a bedroom count over the phone and correct it on the morning. Fold the stairs, the parking and the loft into a number we hoped you would not query. Claim to be based somewhere we are not. Sell you a bigger service than the job needs — if a single room would be better served by man and van than a full removal, we will say so, and we will say it before you book rather than after.
Prices
There are none on this site, deliberately. A price shown before anyone has looked at your move is either a guess or a hook, and both end in the same conversation. What we can tell you in advance is exactly what is included, what affects the number, and how to compare our quote against somebody else's — which is usually more useful than a figure that was never going to apply to you.
What we do not do
We do not quote before we understand the job. We do not promise a transit time we cannot stand behind. We do not take on a property without establishing that we can physically reach it. And we do not claim awards, accreditations, press coverage or customer numbers we have not got — if it is not on this site, it is because it is not true yet.
Cover
Goods in transit and storage cover are in place, with the usual conditions around owner-packed cartons and items of unusual value. Declare anything genuinely valuable at survey and we will confirm in writing what applies. The contractual position is on the terms page.
Getting hold of us
The quote form is quickest. Contact has the rest, questions covers what comes up first, and areas we cover shows exactly where our ground runs out.
Tell us about your move
Send both addresses and roughly how much there is. We come back with a clear written quote — no visit-first requirement, no pressure, no mystery.
