Commercial removals across the UK
Offices, practices, studios and small units — moved out of hours so the business stops trading for the least possible time.
A commercial move is judged on one thing: how quickly the business is working again. Everything we do on these jobs follows from that.
Out of hours, usually
Most of what we move commercially goes in the evening or at a weekend. Partly so trading is not interrupted, partly because loading is simply easier when the car park is empty, the goods lift is free and nobody is trying to work around a crew.
What gets moved, and how
- Desks, chairs and storage, dismantled and rebuilt where they need to be
- IT equipment crated and labelled by desk or room, ready for reconnection
- Filing and records crated in sequence so the order survives the move
- Server and comms equipment crated properly rather than wrapped in a blanket
- A plan of the new floor so things land where they belong instead of by the door
Phased moves
For a business that genuinely cannot stop, we move in sections across several evenings. It takes longer overall and costs far less in lost trading — usually the trade worth making.
The buildings
Business parks and modern offices
Loading bays, goods lifts, space to turn, and a booking process to work around. The easiest commercial addresses there are.
Town-centre offices and practices
Frequently upstairs in older buildings, with narrow stairs, a shared front door and loading restrictions outside. These are the ones that genuinely need an evening.
Studios, workshops and small units
Their own category. Equipment is heavier, more particular and rarely packed, so the lifting plan matters more than the vehicle size.

Both addresses, the floor at each end, a rough desk count, and anything needing special handling. We survey and put it in writing.
Business move questions
When do you do commercial moves?
Evenings and weekends, mostly. A business that closes for a day has paid more for the move than the invoice says, and loading is easier when the car park is empty and the goods lift is free.
Do you handle IT equipment?
We move it, crated and labelled by desk or room. Disconnection and reconnection of servers and specialist equipment stays with your IT people; we make sure everything arrives where they need it, intact and identifiable.
What about confidential files?
Crated in sequence so the order survives, with the handling and access arrangements agreed in writing before the day.
Can you move us in stages?
Yes, and for a business that cannot stop it is usually the right answer. We move in sections across several evenings so there is always a working office somewhere.
Do you move workshops and studios?
Yes. Equipment is usually heavier and more particular than office kit and rarely comes with any packing, so tell us what the machinery actually is and we will plan the lifting properly.
